Batteries Not Included

Batteries Not Included

This morning I listened to a message referring to our understanding of being equipped. So imagine, you are an embryo and all that you will ever be (baby, child, teen, adult, etc.) is in that embryo. While we are equipped with all that we will ever be there are responsibilities to ensure we can improve upon ourselves. The responsibilities are the batteries that will give us the power we need to live out our purpose.

Within my life journey, I have found myself empowering others to recognize their potential. In this position it does not always appear in the form of a conversation. Instead it may show up as a person sharing their admiration of a particular quality. These qualities are often my strength, success or courage. While I have a great number of natural qualities it is through life events they are fine tuned and those that are to come as I encounter life events. There are different size batteries (the intensity of the events) and to keep them charged I have to work. The extent of charging required depends on the battery size and the time spent between charging sessions.

A drained battery has limited use if any at all. My drained battery has recharging that comes from sources I have access to. When my charger needs to be replaced I have to separate myself, rest and restore by seeking my source of existence. I am able to share some with the world, however every source of mine cannot be shared. Sharing too much can be a battery drainer. An even balance of awareness, private time and charity are the primary batteries (work) required for my continued charge. What batteries are giving you the power to live out your purpose?
