Do you base your worth with the things you have? If you don’t have nice cars, a big house, fancy clothes you are not important? If you don’t have a particular status, is your life not at peace? Look at all of your efforts toward gaining your nice car, big house and expensive clothes? So, what happens if your car breaks down? Your house starts to have a leaky roof?
You are more than what you own. You possess the greatness God placed in you before you were formed in your mother’s womb (referenced from Psalms 139)! Being distracted by the value of things in the world can be dangerous for self-esteem, your purpose and your walk.
Affirmations are great but the promises of God are greater! Remember who He is and you will not forget who you are! In summary, how do you determine your worth? You don't because He did! -Amen
