Something Has to Change

Something Has to Change

When the repetition becomes so routine that is does not produce fruit. Something has to change.

How this may look: You are exhausted and the world seems to pass you by.

When you find yourself prioritizing every invitation and not yourself. Something has to change.

How this may look: Not the same as FOMO. This is the guilt that won't go away or fear that your "no" will upset someone.

When you are an introvert and every free moment you are around energy zappers. Something has to change.

How this may look: After spending time around them you need a nap. Your brain has a little person inside screaming and pulling out its own hair. Not having a moment to yourself.

When you spend time around people who tolerate you and don't respect or like you. Something has to change.

How this may look: The energy in the space is just off. Interactions are superficial.

When the spaces (virtual spaces count) you visit produces discouragement instead of motivation. Something has to change.

How this may look: Where do you think you are wasting your time? Who are you wasting time with?

Yeah, that something is you! Your behavior, what you accept, how much time you spend in certain spaces. You making time to achieve replenishment over exhaustion. Taking the first step can be as easy as saying "no". Saying "no" to the areas of your life that drain the energy you need to accomplish your goals.

I won't waste another second of your time because enough people have done that! Go, go, go! (as my son would say). Now let's go make some change happen! Let's get it!

Be inspired,

Dr. K
